As part of the consolidation of a headquarters facilities for a leading retail company, SNCG created the fit plan for the renovation of facilities in the the World Financial Center to accommodate the shared services for the department stores and other subsidaiary brands.  The program ran from standard workstations to training rooms, design library, living rooms, print stations and global presentation rooms.  SNCG worked with EGG Office to integrate graphics for branding, wayfinding, and privacy.


Pratt & Whitney HQ

SNCG was selected to provide concept programming and design for a new Pratt & Whitney building combining their world headquarters, a customer education center, the research and development engineers, and a state of the art food hall within the aesthetics of the historic buildings on campus.  Each of the uses had unique security and access concerns and the overall building had to be designed to be rented out to other parties in the future.  Critical adjacencies were kept and multiple levels of employee amenities were added to account for variation in security access, while allowing collaboration between employees and visitors.  An atrium provides critical light to deeper areas of the building.  The project has been funded and full design is underway.


Tripleseat

This growing tech startup had quickly outgrown its original facilities.  Working together, Tripleseat & SNCG created a flexible workplace scaleable to the expanding needs of the company.  Value-oriented and industrial design provided the combination that allowed the expansion to move forward.  The space was occupied in 2016 and SNCG is currently working on an expansion.


West 38th Office Renovation

Attached to the midtown flagship, this building served as the de facto headquarters and was being renovated to consolidate services, upgrade the image of the building, and provide a secure location for digital support.  Designed around newly programmed needs and current technology, the layout, while designed to a budget, can now meets the needs of the company and the many employees that pass through each day.


Rotunda Building Renovation

The renovation of this well-located office in Wellesley Center has provided a new energy to a building dominated by startups & professional services.  The updates created a clean, contemporary look with enhanced lighting, artwork, and remodeled restrooms.  New design criteria for storefronts opens the corridors to natural light and tenant visibility while maintaining appropriate privacy and a sense of ‘a world away’ that has kept this property in demand.


LaSalle Offices

This four level office building includes retail amenities on the ground floor with a major financial tenant occupying two floors and a a multi-tenant office floor designed as an interim use of future flex space.  The building was designed to embody the stability of the financial tenat while providing a distinguished address for other tenants.  The first floor also incorporates a separate lobby for the main tenant, with the parking and smaller tenant lobby providing access to many of the amenities at street level.  The project includes two levels of underground parking.


Insurance Headquarters

Regional headquarters for an insurance company looking to create space more compatible with today’s workplace.  The project was designed around the site construction restraints that limited heavy construction activity from June through December including long span precast and GFRC panels for faster erection.  The project is designed in two phases with the second building of 150,000 SF and a parking structure.  The larger floor plates are designed to be easily divided to smaller spaces in the future.
